The Beadon Road project involved the development of an existing residential house, incorporating a single-storey rear extension and the construction of a new floor over an existing extension. To address load distribution challenges, the new floor was strategically suspended off new steelwork. This approach was crucial to prevent the application of loads from the new floor onto the single-storey extension, as the existing footings were insufficient to support the additional load. This thoughtful structural solution ensured both functionality and stability in the property's expansion.
